In a spa the therapist is free but the room isn’t, or the room is free and the therapist is on her break. Spa management software has to check both. Frizzi does it before it books, keeps long treatments and clean-up time honest, and lets the evening stay quiet.

What spa management software has to know before it books
Rooms, chairs, equipment
Add “Couple room”, “Steam room” or “Pedicure chair” and tick the treatments that need it. A treatment is booked only when one is free; with two of a room, the first free one is taken.
Therapists and what they do
Each therapist is staff with the services she does. Pick someone who doesn’t do a treatment and Frizzi asks first. “Anyone free” goes to whoever has the fewest visits that day.
Long treatments
Times from 5 minutes to 12 hours in 5-minute steps. A three-hour ritual blocks three hours, and the whole visit must fit before closing.
Processing time
A mask setting or a wrap resting: the client stays, but the therapist is free for someone else. The calendar draws it lighter.
Clean-up after
Fresh linen, oils wiped: the therapist and the room stay busy for those minutes after the client leaves.
Breaks and blocks
Lunch, training, or “Every day” blocks. Therapists can block their own time.

Packages, gift vouchers and deposits
Packages and memberships that clients feel
Sell “6 massages” as a fixed package, or “any 3 from a list” so the client can mix a massage, a scrub and a facial. Each visit shows “Use package · 3 left” and the line becomes ₹0, while the therapist still earns her commission.
Memberships give % off treatments for the months they last, from the bill that sells them. Both are on Plus.

Gift vouchers for the season
Spas sell more gifts than most salons. A Frizzi gift voucher (Plus) is ₹500, ₹1,000, ₹2,000 or ₹5,000 in one tap, with an 8-character code like K7PM-4RXQ, valid 1 to 36 months, and sent on WhatsApp.
A voucher sale is a receipt, not a GST invoice: GST is charged when it is spent. It can be used in parts, by anyone, at the branches you choose. Read gift vouchers and GST.

Quiet booking
Bookings that don’t disturb the calm
A spa sells quiet. The software shouldn’t ring all evening.
Accept each app booking
Turn on “Accept each app booking first” and nothing lands in the diary until the desk says yes.
Notice and limits
Clients book at least 1, 2 or 4 hours or a day ahead, and up to 90 days. You choose which treatments are bookable online.
Quiet hours
No messages to clients between 9 pm and 9 am, except the time-sensitive ones.
Deposits on big bookings
Ask for a deposit on a booking over an amount, or from a client with past no-shows. Taken at the desk; it goes into her wallet.
Private feedback
Hear about a bad massage before Google does
After a visit, Frizzi can ask for private feedback (Plus): stars for the treatment, the therapist and the spa, and a comment, through a link, the Frizzi client app, or a tablet at the desk. A one- or two-star score alerts the owner at once and goes on the “Unhappy clients to call” list.
The feedback stays private. A report shows scores by therapist, which helps at review time.

FAQ
Questions
Can Frizzi book rooms as well as therapists?
Yes, on Plus. Add your rooms, chairs or equipment and tick the treatments that need them. A treatment is booked only when both a therapist and a room are free, including the clean-up time after.
Can clients pay a deposit online?
No. Frizzi has no online payments. The desk takes the deposit by cash, UPI or card, it goes into the client’s wallet, and “Bill now” uses it on the day.
Do gift vouchers have GST?
Selling a voucher in Frizzi makes a receipt, not a GST invoice. GST is charged when the voucher is spent on a treatment. Check the treatment of vouchers in your books with your CA.
Can clients book the spa online?
Clients will book in the free Frizzi client app, which is coming soon. You choose which treatments can be booked there; others show “Call to book”.
Does Frizzi charge for no-shows?
On Plus, you can set a late-cancel or no-show fee. Each charge gets its own numbered fee invoice. The desk can charge, waive or leave it for a manager.
Which plan does a spa need?
Most spas want Plus (₹799 a branch a month plus GST) for rooms, packages, gift vouchers, deposits and private feedback. Pro adds payroll and full stock with product use per treatment.
