Legal
Terms of use
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Draft — to be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. These terms are a working draft. They are not yet final and may change before Frizzi launches publicly.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [legal name of the company — to be confirmed] (“Frizzi”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Frizzi Business app for salons and their staff, the Frizzi app for salon clients, and the frizzi.app website (together, “Frizzi”). By using Frizzi you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. Accounts and sign-in
- You sign in with your own mobile number and a one-time code. Staff also use a 6-digit PIN. Keep your phone and PIN to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your sign-in.
- Give true details. One person has one Frizzi account, whichever salons they work at.
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
3. For salons
- The salon’s owner registers the salon, decides who on the team can use it and in which role, and is responsible for their use of it.
- Your business details: you are responsible for the details you enter, such as your GSTIN, prices, GST rates and HSN codes. Frizzi works out GST and makes invoices and reports from them, but your tax returns and compliance remain your responsibility. Please check them with your accountant.
- Your clients: you are the Data Fiduciary for the client records you keep. Record only what you need, send offers only to clients who agreed, and honour clients’ requests about their data.
- Your staff: tell your staff before using GPS or selfie check-in, and keep their documents and pay records private.
- Money: payments from your clients go straight to you (for example to your UPI ID). Frizzi does not hold your money and takes no share of your bills.
- Messages: WhatsApp messages sent through your own WhatsApp Business number also follow Meta’s rules.
4. Plans and payment
- Frizzi Business is sold as plans charged for each open branch, as shown on the pricing page. Prices are before GST; invoices add GST.
- A new salon gets a free trial of Pro (35 days). After the trial the salon is on Basic, unless the owner chose another plan.
- Invoices are due within 15 days and are paid by UPI or bank transfer. If an invoice is still unpaid 7 days after its due date, the salon becomes view-only until it is paid: everything can be seen and downloaded, but nothing new can be made.
- Upgrades start at once, with an invoice for the days left. Downgrades and changes between monthly and yearly start at the next renewal. Amounts already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires.
- We may change prices for the future. We will tell owners in the app before a change affects their renewal.
5. For clients using the Frizzi app
- The Frizzi app is free. It shows salons and helps you book with them, join their queue and see your bills.
- Your booking is with the salon, not with Frizzi. The salon decides its services, prices, times, offers and rules, including any deposit or late-cancellation and no-show fees. The salon is responsible for the service you receive.
- You pay at the salon. There is no online payment in the app.
- Prices, offers and times come from each salon. We try to keep them correct, but the salon’s own price at the time of your visit applies.
- Salons that pay to be shown first are marked “AD”.
6. Reviews
- You can rate a visit you really made, for a limited time after it. Be honest and fair.
- Do not post abusive, false or unlawful content, or personal details of others.
- Salons can reply to reviews and report ones they believe break these rules. We may hide reviews that break them.
- You allow us to show your review in Frizzi with your first name and last initial.
7. Fair use
Do not misuse Frizzi. For example, do not try to get into data that isn’t yours, interfere with the service, send spam, copy or resell the apps, or use Frizzi for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Your data
- A salon’s data belongs to the salon. The owner can download all of it at any time, on any plan, even when view-only.
- We use data only to provide Frizzi, as our privacy policy explains.
- Frizzi itself, the apps, the design and the name, belong to us.
9. The service
- We work to keep Frizzi running and safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Some things need the internet; bills made offline are sent when the connection returns.
- We may improve or change features. If we remove something important from a paid plan, we will tell owners first.
10. Liability
As far as the law allows, Frizzi is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business. Our total liability to a salon for any claim is limited to the amount the salon paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.
11. Ending use
- A client can delete their Frizzi app account at any time (how).
- A salon can stop using Frizzi at any time and download its data first. Records the law requires us to keep are kept for that time.
- We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, after telling the owner where we reasonably can.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city — to be confirmed, for example New Delhi] have jurisdiction. Please write to us first; most problems can be solved quickly.
13. Contact
Write to us at hello@frizzi.app, or at [registered address — to be confirmed].
