Gift vouchers of ₹500 to ₹5,000 with a code like K7PM-4RXQ, sent on WhatsApp, valid up to 36 months. Take bookings for the Puja days early, with a waitlist for the slots that fill.

Open a new bill with “+” while another is going, hold up to 10, and keep billing if the internet drops. Those bills get their numbers when the connection is back.

Staff advances
Advances before the festival, recovered without arguments
Give an advance from Home or the Advances page, in cash or UPI. It shows as “Not paid back yet” until it is repaid in cash or recovered from pay. Every advance is written down with who gave it and when, so nobody has to remember in January.
With payroll in Pro, set the recovery: all from the next pay, or a monthly instalment. Frizzi never takes back more than the pay left, and the payslip shows the advance beside the earnings. Read how to handle staff advances.

Closing on a big day
A cash count you can trust after a full day
On the busiest days the drawer is where money goes missing. Frizzi’s cash tally shows what should be in the drawer, counts note by note, and says Matches, Short or Over. Switch on the blind count and staff count before they see the expected figure. Bank deposits and cash handed to the owner are recorded with “who has it”, so nothing goes missing between the drawer and the bank.
West Bengal and professional tax: West Bengal levies professional tax on salaries. Frizzi’s payroll doesn’t work it out, nor PF or ESI. Add it as a monthly deduction by hand and check the slab with your CA.

FAQ
Questions from Kolkata salons
Is GST charged when I sell a gift voucher?
In Frizzi a voucher sale is a receipt, not a GST invoice, and GST is charged on the bill where the voucher is spent. Confirm the treatment with your CA; our guide on gift vouchers and GST explains why.
What if the internet goes down on a busy day?
The till keeps billing service, combo and product bills paid by cash, UPI or card. They are saved on the device and sent when the connection is back, with their real date and time. Wallet, vouchers and dues wait for the internet.
Can staff ask for an advance in the app?
No. Advances are given by an owner or manager from Home or the Advances page. Staff can see their own payslips and earnings in the app.
