Points & gift vouchers · Plus and Pro
Salon loyalty points and gift vouchers, run from the till
Frizzi runs salon loyalty points and gift vouchers from the same till you bill on: points earned on what clients really pay, voucher codes that are easy to read out over the phone, free spend levels, coupons and referrals. Each one stays off until you switch it on. All of it is part of Plus.
- Points only on cash, UPI or card, never on tips
- Gift voucher codes like K7PM-4RXQ, valid 1 to 36 months
- Spend levels: once up, stays up

Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers that are easy to sell and hard to misuse
Sell one from the Gift vouchers page or a client’s profile, with one tap for ₹500, ₹1,000, ₹2,000 or ₹5,000. Choose where it can be used (all branches or some) and how long it lasts, 1 to 36 months (12 to begin with). Then send the code on WhatsApp to the person it is for.
The code is eight letters and numbers, like K7PM-4RXQ, without 0, O, 1, I or L, so nobody misreads it over the phone. Anyone can pay with it, walk-ins too, in parts, until it is used up or expires. One voucher per bill.
A voucher sale is a receipt, not a GST invoice: GST is charged on the bill where it is spent. Only a voucher nobody has used yet can be cancelled.
- “Check” shows what is left, the expiry and where it works
- Ending reminders before the last day
- Expired balance counts as income in your profit

Loyalty points
Points, set the way you want
Switch points on in Offers & loyalty. These are the settings, and what they start as.
| Setting | To begin with | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Points for every ₹100 paid | 1 | Earned on cash, UPI and card only. Not on wallet money, vouchers, points, pay later or tips. Walk-ins earn none |
| What one point is worth | ₹1 | With both defaults, clients get 1% back in points |
| Fewest points to use at once | Any | Set 100 if you don’t want ₹12 redemptions |
| Points end after N months | Off | Unused points older than N months end, oldest first. Clients see “120 points end by 2 Dec” |
| No points for members and package holders | Off | Stops a client getting a discount and points on the same visit |
| Bonus points | Owners only | Any number, with a reason that is kept |
Points come off the whole bill before GST, so tax is worked out on the lower amount. They are the client’s own, so they never count against reception’s discount limit. Cancelling a bill takes back the points it earned.
Spend levels
Free levels for every client: once up, stays up
Spend levels reward your best clients without selling them anything. Every client is placed on a level by what they spent in the last 12 months, at all your branches. Name 2 to 5 levels yourself; the page suggests Silver from ₹0, Gold from ₹20,000 and Platinum from ₹50,000.
Each level gives either a percentage off services (and products, if you like) or more points, 1 to 10 times. A client who moves up hears “You’re now Gold at Demo Salon”, and from then on they never move down: not when old spend drops out, not after a refund, not if you change the levels.
Switching levels on places everyone quietly, without a burst of messages. At the till a level works like a member discount and never adds to a membership or an app offer; the bigger one wins.
- Shown on the till, the profile and the client app
- A Clients filter and campaign audience
- Reception can’t remove it; owners and managers can

More ways to reward
Coupons, referrals and bonus money
Each one has its own page in Offers & loyalty and stays off until you make something. All come with Plus.
Coupon codes
Like DIWALI20: 1% to 90% off with a cap, or rupees off. Set a minimum bill, dates, uses per client, services, branches or new clients only. One per bill, before GST.
Next-visit coupon
After every bill, a coupon only that client can use, from the next day, for 10% off for 30 days unless you change it. Sent to them as a message, not printed on the bill.
Referral
Every client gets a code like PRIYA7KQ and a link. The friend gets money off their first bill; the client gets wallet money or points after 7 days, if the bill isn’t refunded.
Happy hours and cashback
1% to 100% of what was paid comes back into the wallet as bonus money, on the days, hours, services and branches you choose. Useful for quiet afternoons.
Wallet top-up bonus
Steps like “Add ₹10,000, get ₹2,000 bonus”. Bonus money is kept apart, spent first, and can end after some months.
Welcome bonus
Points or a one-time coupon for a new client, once per mobile number ever, given at the desk, the till, the app or the sign-up tablet.
Choosing
Salon loyalty points, gift vouchers or levels: where to start
Running every scheme at once confuses clients and the desk. Start with one that matches what you want more of.
- Want clients to come back sooner? A next-visit coupon is the most direct: a reason to return within 30 days, sent the day after the visit.
- Want to reward spend without giving discounts away? Points at the default rate cost you 1% of what clients pay, and only when they use them. Points ending after 12 months keeps the cost from piling up.
- Want your big spenders to feel special? Spend levels give them a status and a discount without a sale. Keep the steps high enough that Gold means something.
- Want new clients? Referral pays only when a friend actually visits and the bill stands for 7 days, so you are never paying for nothing. The default limit of 5 rewards a month per client stops abuse.
- Want cash before the festive rush? Gift vouchers bring money in now and new faces later.
Whatever you choose, discounts don’t pile up. A member discount, spend level and app offer never stack, and a coupon stacks with a member discount only if you allow it. Bonus money and cashback show in your profit and loss as “less wallet bonus and cashback spent”, so you see what loyalty really costs. For a longer comparison, read loyalty points vs memberships and see memberships and packages.

FAQ
Questions
Is GST charged when I sell a gift voucher?
Not at the sale. A voucher sale is a receipt, and GST is charged on the bill where the voucher is spent. Ask your CA about your own case; our guide on GST on gift vouchers explains the thinking.
Do clients earn points on tips or wallet payments?
No. Points are earned only on money paid by cash, UPI or card. Wallet money, vouchers, points, the part left to pay later and tips earn nothing, and walk-ins without a number earn nothing either.
Can a client use two discounts on one bill?
A member discount, a spend level and an app offer never go together; the biggest one is used. One coupon per bill, which works with a member discount only if you set it to. Points are the client’s own and come off before GST.
Do spend levels ever go down?
No. Once a client reaches a level they stay on it, even if their spend in the last 12 months falls. Membership levels are different and can go down.
What stops referrals being abused?
The code works only on a friend’s first visit, never on the client’s own number, and not with an app offer or a member discount. The reward waits 7 days and is called off by a refund or cancellation. Each client can get 5 rewards a month unless you change it.
Can a gift voucher be used at any branch?
You choose when you sell it: all branches, or only some. A voucher for other branches is refused with a plain message at the till.
Which plan has loyalty points and gift vouchers?
Plus, ₹799 a branch a month plus GST, and Pro. App offers and client wallets are in every plan.
