Shifts and late marks
A shift per person with 15 minutes’ grace by default. Late and left-early marks, and penalties if you switch them on.
Leave and weekly offs
Staff apply for a full or half day; a manager approves. Weekly offs as a number a month or fixed days, and holidays per branch.

Kept privately, opened through a 5-minute link, and deleted after 90 days.

Season incentives
A season bonus everyone understands
In Pro payroll, give a stylist a monthly target on service sales that pays a bonus amount or an extra percentage when they reach it. Or use slabs: “whole amount at the slab reached” or “each part at its own rate”. Stylists see “This month so far” on their Home screen, so they know how close they are.

Leave in the busy months
Fair rules for days off when the book is full
Everyone wants a day off around Diwali, and nobody can have all of them. With Pro attendance, staff apply for leave in the app and a manager approves or refuses it, so there is a record either way. Paid leave a year (12 days, say) shows its balance to the person, and the calendar shades their column so nobody is booked on a day they’re off.
If you use the sandwich rule, an off day or holiday becomes unpaid when someone is absent without approved leave on the working days before and after it. It is off unless you switch it on. Add each person
Name, mobile number, role and branch. They sign in with an SMS code and a PIN.
Set how they are paid
Salary, commission, or both. Owners alone see the rates.
Choose how they check in
Their own phone with GPS, or the salon’s tablet at the desk.
Lock the month
When the month is over, review payroll, lock it, and send payslips.
FAQ
Questions from Indore salons
Do staff need a smartphone?
No. A salon’s own tablet or computer can check people in at the desk. Staff with a phone can also see their earnings, leave and payslips in the app.
Does Frizzi do PF and ESI?
No. Payroll covers salary, commission, incentives, leave, late fines and advances, but not PF, ESI, professional tax or TDS. Add any fixed deduction by hand when you review the month.
Is GPS check-in reliable?
It refuses fake-location apps and readings less accurate than 100 m, and checks the distance from the branch. GPS check-in is new, so try it on your team’s own phones during the free trial.
Which plan do I need for payroll?
Pro, ₹1,499 a branch a month plus GST. Check-in, commission % and staff earnings are in Basic at ₹99.
