Salon software in Ahmedabad that keeps udhaar in order
In Ahmedabad, regulars in Satellite or Navrangpura sometimes say “I’ll pay next time”, and most of them do. The trouble is the notebook. Frizzi is salon billing software where every due sits on the client’s profile, shows on the next bill, and appears on one page so nothing is forgotten.
- “Pay later” on any bill, in full or in part
- A dues page, biggest first
- Dues ageing: 0–30, 31–60, 61–90, 90+ days

Udhaar
Salon billing software in Ahmedabad with every rupee owed in one place
At the till, “Pay later” leaves all or part of a bill as a due on that client. Their profile then shows Due ₹X in red, at every branch. Next time they come in, the till shows the due and reception can collect it with today’s bill in one go.
The dues page lists everyone who owes you, biggest first. Only an owner can write a due off, and every entry stays in the history: nothing is rubbed out, it is undone with a reason.
- One balance per client, across all branches
- Collect an old due with a new bill
- Write-off by the owner only

Ageing
How old is your udhaar?
The dues ageing report sorts what you’re owed by how long it has been owed. A simple way to act on it:
| How long owed | What it usually means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 0–30 days | A regular who forgot their wallet | Collect it with the next bill |
| 31–60 days | They haven’t been back yet | A friendly call from the desk |
| 61–90 days | They may be drifting | Call yourself; ask before giving more credit |
| 90+ days | Unlikely to come in by itself | Decide: chase it, or write it off |
The “Owes money” client group and filter let you see the same people from the Clients page. The report is one of 39, with Excel and PDF.
Wallet and dues together
Credit both ways, kept straight
Never both
A client has a wallet balance (gold) or a due (red), never both, so there is one number to read at the till.
GST when the service is billed
Money added to a wallet isn’t a sale or a tax invoice. GST is charged on the bill where it’s spent. A due is part of a GST bill already made.
Two tills, one balance
Two counters can’t spend the same wallet money twice, and the client app shows the client their balance (coming soon).
Gujarat staff pay: Gujarat levies professional tax on salaries. Frizzi’s payroll (Pro) doesn’t include it, or PF and ESI, so add it as a deduction by hand and check the slab with your CA.
How it works
Moving your udhaar notebook into Frizzi
Add each client
With their mobile number and name, by hand from your notebook or as they come in. There is no client import yet.
Set the opening due
An owner corrects the balance by hand, with a reason like “From the old register”.
Collect as they visit
The till shows the due on their next bill. The dues page shows who is left.
FAQ
Questions from Ahmedabad salons
Can a client pay part of a bill now and the rest later?
Yes. Take part now by cash, UPI or card and leave the rest as a due. It shows on their profile and on their next bill.
Can staff wipe out a due?
No. Only an owner can write a due off, and it is recorded with a reason. Money entries are never edited or deleted.
Is pay later in the cheapest plan?
Yes. Wallet, dues, pay later and the dues page are in Basic, ₹99 a branch a month plus GST.
Does pay later work when the internet is down?
No. Wallet, dues and pay later need the server, so they hide while the till is offline. Cash, UPI and card bills keep working.
